Thames Tunnel at Rotherhithe, London

Brunel's Thames Tunnel will be open to the public for just two days and then will be closed as it will revert to being a railway tunnel. It's the last chance to see the first tunnel under a body of water.

A nice little site for San Francisco Bay Area folks

Out of the blue I got an email from Alison Chaiken saying that she'd got a web page with a list of links for the Technical Tourist in the San Francisco Bay Area.

It's a great list.
